Week 2 and 3

Hello everyone,
We are well and truly underway with our learning now, and getting excited about all the possibilities of the year.

Growth Mindset is something I feel very passionately about. I believe it sets children up for a positive outlook on life and the resilience to tackle challenges. The students have really enjoyed learning about the brain these past two weeks and their retention of facts astounds me!

 We also celebrated Valentine's Day and we hope you loved getting your special 'Love Bug' cards.

 We also celebrated Australia Day with a dress up and sing along to 'We Are Australian'. I hope you enjoy listening to the Room 23 songbirds.

Student Councillors for Semester One have been appointed. Huge congratulations goes to Gorika and Tom. We are so lucky to be represented by such wonderful students.

Thank you to all the parents who attended the Parent Information Evening. I hope you enjoyed getting to know a little more about our wonderful class and the amazing things we do.
Your support as always is much appreciated.

Homework will be placed on the blog from next week.
Please take note that Literacy Pro Tests are only to be taken at school. Students are encouraged to do as many quizzes as they like, however, all tests are required to be monitored at school.
